I am a school teacher with a 17 station network in my classroom. I do not know if I could administer my network without Remote Administrator. I can monitor each computer in the class to protect the kids from going to inappropriate places on the internet. I can keep the kids from messing with the system tools. The list goes on and on.

Product Activation

 

Only Radmin Server 3.x requires activation after the 30-day trial period. Radmin Viewer 3.x is free of charge and doesn't require activation. If you experience any problems with Radmin 3 activation, please refer to our Product Activation Guide.

License key request

 

If you have not received your license key within two (2) working days or have lost it, please use our Key Request Form to have it re-sent to you.

 

Upgrade Policy

 

Radmin 1.x and 2.x license keys will not work with Radmin 3.x. If you want to upgrade your license key to the new Radmin 3 license key, go to the Upgrade Policy page and find the instructions for getting the new license key.

Payment processing

Q:

How do I buy Radmin?

 

A:

The easiest way is online. Just go to our online store and use any preferred payment method (credit card, check or bank transfer). If you'd like to use a Purchase Order, please, contact any of our sales managers using our Feedback Form to get full instructions (like fax number or postal address, part numbers) for how to pay by Purchase Order. Please indicate the license you are ordering.

Q:

I don't fully understand your licensing schedule. What should I do?

 

A:

Contact us using our Feedback Form. We'll help you find the most cost effective way to license Radmin for your environment.

Q:

What is your upgrade policy?

 

A:

Upgrade terms may depend on the purchase date and kind of license bought. Please visit the Upgrade Policy page for details.

Q:

Do I need to pay for technical support?

 

A:

We provide FREE e-mail technical support to our registered users. If you need faster answers to your questions and/or would like to get support by telephone you can order our Phone Support Package.

Q:

If I purchase just a single license for $49, do I receive a CD to install the software?

 

A:

No, most customers choose to download Radmin. If you like, you can order Radmin (Remote Administrator) CD-ROM. The price is $15 (shipping included). Whichever way you prefer to purchase your license, you will be provided with the option to select the "Backup CD" field.

Q:

I need another license. How do I get one so it can connect to my other computers?

 

A:

You can just order the new license the same way you did the previous one, use this link. There is no need for making one key for all machines because they can connect with each other using separate license keys.

Q:

I purchased Radmin and my payment was processed, but I still haven't received my license key. What should I do?

 

A:

A license key is usually sent within 24 hours of receiving your payment. It arrives like an e-mail from Famatech support with an attached .txt file that contains your key. If you haven't receive your key or you've lost it, please, use our Key Request Form and we will re-send your key.

Also, please be sure that your mail server doesn't use an anti-spam program that simply deletes all e-mails that have attached files. If your server has such software, please inform us about, we will send you the key within the e-mail body.

Q:

If I buy a CD with Radmin, would I get a license key with it?

 

A:

No. The CD contains only 30-days trial version. To continue using Radmin you'll need to order a license and register it.

Q:

We are interested in purchasing Radmin for our work site. Famatech is not listed in our system as an enrolled payee. Therefore, could you give me a list of resellers in the hope that one of them might be on our list?

 

A:

We work with a number of Software Procurement Companies. So, please, contact the company you work with for purchasing Remote Administrator. If our product is not listed in their database, please, contact us at reselling@famatech.com. We'll do our best to solve this problem ASAP.

Q:

Who do I write the check to? I need to submit a W9 to our purchasing.

 

A:

Please write the check only after you have filled in the online form for checks on our web site. The payee name and complete address is provided when you submit the form. You can contact using our Feedback Form to get the W9.

Q:

Do we need to pay VAT? This is new for me, and we haven't received any info about it. Why should I pay VAT when I'm in another country?

 

A:

VAT is collected, by law, only from our European customers (non-business customers only). The VAT is an additional tax, similar to a Sales Tax, based on the total dollar amount of each order. All corporate customers are exempt from that (just enter your VAT ID). This rate is variable and depends on the country in which you live. The following countries are charged VAT:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
The new VAT law came into effect July 1, 2003. All companies selling online to European customers need to collect the VAT.

Q:

Who is element 5?

 

A:

Famatech has partnered with element 5, a leading e-commerce provider. During your checkout, you may notice that your order is being serviced by element 5.
The information that you submit to Famatech or to element 5 will never be sold or otherwise transferred to any third parties.
