Radmin Security
Radmin provides IT specialists extremely fast and secure remote access of their
corporate computing resources.
What makes Radmin the most secure remote access utility on the market?
Radmin generates a unique "secret key" for each connection based
on a large random bit sequence. The access password
remains on your computer in encrypted format and is
never transmitted between Radmin Viewer and Radmin
Server. This prevents malicious users from intercepting
or generating the key to crack the encrypted data.
Radmin 3 also supports Windows Vista/XP/2008/2003/2000
user level security with Kerberos and NTLMv2 support. Of course,
you decide whether or not to permit remote access
from specific users or user groups. Permissions for
Radmin connections can be given to users from primary
domains, trusted domains and active directories.
Radmin’s use of the Advanced 256 bit AES encryption algorithm provides the
highest protection available against third party intervention.
All data, including screen images, mouse cursor movements
and keyboard signals, are always encrypted. The encryption
is impossible to turn off for Radmin (Remote Administrator)
2.1 and higher.
Radmin Server has a logging feature so that every action is recorded
into a log file. Radmin Server has an
IP filter table that restricts remote access to IP
addresses and networks you specify. Built into Radmin
is a code-testing defense mechanism that prevents
its code being altered.
Radmin prevents incorrect Server configurations.
Radmin Server does not allow empty passwords.
Radmin Server actively protects its settings, which
are stored in the system registry. Only a user with
administrator rights can access this registry branch.
Radmin Server also features smart protection from
password guessing. This protection includes such features
as password anti-guessing security delays, banning
IP adresses with excessive number of password guess
attempts, etc. Radmin Server starts as a service and
doesn't start as an application on Windows Vista/XP/2003/2000,
which improves security.
An alternative to VPN?
It is generally recognized that the cost of implementation
and support of VPN systems is directly proportional
to their complexity levels. Radmin makes it easy to
set up an absolutely secure solution for users to
remotely access and work on their computers, provided
the network's routers/firewalls are configured appropriately.

to expensive and often problematic VPN configurations.
Your product is wonderful. Although Windows XP's Remote Assistance works great once I'm connected to a user, I was fed up with the time I spent initiating and generating the connection.
