Radmin CS 3.0 Instant Messaging Tool - Security
Like other Famatech products, Radmin Communication Server offers
premium security with two security subsystems. You can
use either the embedded Windows security or Radmin's enhanced
security.
Radmin Communication Server supports the Windows NT/2000/XP/2003
user level security with NTLMv2, so you can limit remote
access to specific users or user groups including users on the
local computer, primary domains, trusted domains or Active Directories.
The security settings interface is unified with the Windows standard.
When using Radmin security you can set up different permissions
for Radmin users. For user authentication and session key setups
a modified Diffie-Hellman exchange with a 2048 bit
key size is used.
For data stream encryption Radmin Communication Server uses AES
with a 256 bit key size. Radmin Communication Server generates
unique 256 bit keys for each connection, providing unsurpassed
protection. An IP filter table lets you restrict access
to specific IP addresses and networks.
This makes Radmin Communication Server one of the most secure enterprise instant messaging systems available.
I am a school teacher with a 17 station network in my classroom. I do not know if I could administer my network without Remote Administrator.
