I am a school teacher with a 17 station network in my classroom. I do not know if I could administer my network without Remote Administrator. I can monitor each computer in the class to protect the kids from going to inappropriate places on the internet. I can keep the kids from messing with the system tools. The list goes on and on.

Traditional remote control solutions could control a computer only if the computer’s operating system was running and configured. Intel® AMT removes this limitation and allows the control of a remote computer that is turned off, has no operating system installed or if its operating system hangs. Such functionality is provided by a special add-on processor on the motherboard that can handle incoming network requests for many useful tasks.
